Our Robinia split stakes, are the ideal solution for durable fencing in agriculture, landscaping, and forestry. Made from premium-quality Robinia wood – known for its exceptional durability and strength – the stakes are peeled, pointed, and feature two straight edges, making them perfect for connecting with crossbars or rails for pasture fencing, wildlife protection, or natural boundary demarcation.

With a durability class of 1–2 according to DIN EN 350-2, our split stakes are especially weather-resistant, rot-proof, and suitable for direct ground contact. Robinia wood is non-toxic and therefore particularly animal-friendly – ideal for horse, cattle, or sheep enclosures. FSC®-certified options are available on request.

Yes, we do. Our round poles meets all standards of DIN EN 1176 and is supplied sorted, cleaned and free from sharp edges – safe and immediately ready to use for any playground installation.

Are the products delivered kiln-dried or air-dried?

Depending on the application, we supply the appropriate timber in optimal drying quality: for glulam, decking boards or cladding profiles, we use kiln-dried wood (KD) as standard. Our roundwood is sourced exclusively from winter felling to ensure top quality.

Do you supply standardised dimensions or tailor-made sizes?

Both. We offer standard formats as well as customised products – from precision cuts based on drawings to specialised profiles and fixed lengths for playground construction, timber engineering, or the timber trade.

What robinia products are available from ROBINIO?

Our timber comes exclusively from sustainably managed natural forests in Southeastern Europe – never from plantations. To preserve the forest ecosystem, we harvest carefully by hand, primarily during the winter months.

Yes, definitely! Robinia matches the durability of many tropical woods, yet comes from European sources – making it a far more sustainable and eco-friendly choice.

Does robinia wood require chemical wood protection?

No. Robinia’s rich natural tannins provide lasting protection against fungi, insects and rotting – even under permanent exposure to soil and moisture.

Fresh robinia wood ranges from yellowish-olive to brown, but when exposed to the elements, it develops a uniform silvery-grey patina. This natural weathering does not affect the wood’s durability or structural integrity.
